Das ist bisher die Paid4-Meldung des Jahres! Clixsense gibt das Kerngeschäft "Paid2Click" komplett auf und erfindet sich neu. Ab sofort gibt es keine vergüteten Ads mehr, dieser Bereich wurde komplett von der Website gelöscht. Ab sofort wird man "nur" noch für die Teilnahme an Umfragen, das Bearbeiten von Micro-Aufgaben sowie für die eigene Treue bezahlt. Zudem hat Clixsense aus 8 Refebenen eine einzige gemacht! Das ist für langjährige Refsammler natürlich ein riesen Schock.

Doch alles der Reihe nach was ist geschehen?

Alles fing eigentlich damit an, als Clixsense bekanntgab, dass Auszahlungen per PayPal nicht länger möglich sind (wir berichteten). Diese Meldung hatten wir im Februar rausgebracht. Es ging darum, dass Paypal die eigenen Richtlinien verschärft hatte und zukünftig nicht mehr mit Paid2Click-Diensten zusammenarbeiten möchte. Diese Veränderung hat dem Betreiber damals schwer zu schaffen gemacht. Er hat jedoch Wege und Dienste gefunden, die dann die Lücke von PayPal geschlossen hatten. Alle User waren beruhigt, mit der Zeit würde Gras über die Sache wachsen, dachte man...

Moving forward with change

Members, more than 10 years ago we came online strictly as a PTC. As all things go, the ClixSense business model has changed over the years and with the addition of Crowdflower tasks, offers and surveys our core business has shifted. No longer are we just a PTC, but instead ClixSense has grown to be one of the top performing survey networks in the world.

While our survey, task and offer business has grown significantly, the PTC side of our business has been on a downward slide for some time now and more so since the loss of Paypal back in February.

Being in the PTC industry has it's positives and negatives. The positive side of things is that we can provide you with an easy way to earn a little money and for advertisers we can send a large amount of traffic to their websites for a very reasonable price. The negative side of things is a bit more extreme. This caused us to lose our Paypal account (or so they claim), it places us into a high risk category any time we apply for a merchant account or new payment processor. It gives companies a negative feeling about us because this industry is loaded with fraud. What I mean by that is companies who we've approached to partner with us refuse to do so because of our affiliation with PTC. And lastly, from a revenue standpoint, it's not profitable at all.

With the negatives out weighing the positives, and after 10 years in the PTC business, we have decided to move forward without PTC. Beginning July 15th, 2017 PTC ads will be removed from ClixSense. Along with the removal of PTC we have also decided to remove ClixGrid and the premium upgrades, including the corresponding 8-level commission structure. As of today, July 1st we will stop selling upgrades, PTC advertising and ClixGrid. Those of you who have ad credits on your account may still use them until July 15th. Any member who has purchased an upgrade in the last 24 hours will be immediately refunded today. We are stopping the sales so any remaining ad credits or ClixGrid campaigns can expire.

With the removal of upgrades we will no longer have 2 membership types. Instead, all members will have the same policies and options available to them and this includes cashouts. We have decided that we will raise the minimum cashout for all members to $10.00. This is still very reasonable and lower than many other companies in this vertical.

So what does all this mean?
Well, a lot actually. Any member who had purchased an upgrade in the last year will receive a prorated refund for any unused portion of their upgrade. This refund will be credited back to your account balance on or shortly after July 15th. The amount of prorated refund will be credited at 4.5 cents per day remaining on your premium account.

We know with the removal of upgrades and the 8 tier affiliate program that this may have an impact on some members with a large downline. To compensate for this ClixSense will now pay an incredible 20% commission on all direct referral activities. We will offer a single level affiliate program only and this commission is the same for all members as we will no longer have 2 different membership types. This change makes all members equal so everyone will have the same earning potential. This means if you are a standard member now (not upgraded) this change has given you a 200% increase in affiliate commissions (from 5% to 20%). For those members who are premium this is a 100% increase from your current affiliate commissions (from 10% to 20%).

* Please note, the 20% affiliate commission may be adjusted at a later date. We will keep this at 20% for a short time and then we will review our numbers and adjust from there, if necessary. If we end up lowering the commission, it should not be reduced to lower than 15%, which is still more than a premium member was making.

This new higher commission will generate more money for you than what the 8 tier affiliate program did. The reason is more members will do surveys, tasks and offers than those that would purchase an upgrade. In some cases this change can boost a members earnings significantly.

The checklist bonus will now give a possible 10% bonus to all members and the requirement for clicking PTC ads & ClixGrid will be removed.

Daily Checklist Bonus 7.0%
Activity Extra Bonus 2.0%
ClixAddon Extra Bonus 1.0%
Maximum Possible Bonus 10.0%

We realize this may come as a surprise to you but this is a change that had to be done. ClixSense will continue to be the best it can be and move forward because of your support. We are always looking for new ways for you to earn money and will not stop trying to improve our service.

Along with all these changes you will also notice a brand new look for ClixSense. A new website layout with a responsive design (mobile friendly) that is very pleasing to look at and easy to use.

So to recap:
• PTC ads will be removed.
• ClixGrid will be removed
• Premium upgrades and the corresponding 8-level commission structure, removed
• Minimum cashout for all members is $10.00
• Affiliate commissions upped to 20% for all members
• Checklist bonus will now pay a maximum of 10% if all requirements met.

Auch wenn der Betreiber am Ende schreibt, dass diese Entscheidung nichts mit PayPal zu tun hätte, so sollte man auf den "fettmarkierten" Teil achten. Hier heißt es, dass während die Umfrage-Sparte die letzten Jahre schön angestiegen ist, die PTC-Sparte langsam aber stetig zurückgeht. Das ist für mich der Kernsatz der Meldung!

Wie vielleicht wenige wussten, hatte Clixsense vor ein paar Jahren damit begonnen eine eigene Abteilung für Meinungsforschung aufzubauen und diese Schritt für Schritt weiter entwickelt und gefördert. In den letzten Jahren konnte man auf der beliebten Plattform immer mehr bezahlte Umfragen durchführen, weshalb in meiner Downline die Einkünfte über Umfragen ca. 75% ausmachten, während die der Klicks nur noch ca. 25% zum Umsatz beisteuerten.

Doch nicht genug, nach heftigen Protesten von Seiten der User gab der Betreiber am 2. Juli wieder eine Meldung heraus...

Update to changes - July 2nd

Members, after hearing from many of you and your concerns for the new checklist bonus commission, we have listened to your concerns and have decided to adjust the checklist bonus to 16% for everyone, similar to what we have now for our premium accounts. (12% Regular Bonus + 2% Activity Bonus + 2% ClixAddon Bonus). In other words, everyone's accounts will be equivalent to the current premium status and more.

The 20% affiliate commission will be unchanged.

Also, because July 15th falls on a weekend, we'd prefer to have the change on a weekday, so the changes will not be effective until Monday July 17th.

Also some of you had some very good questions and I would like to address those now.

• I have an advertising campaign setup that is linked to the ClixGrid page. What will happen to this once you make this change?
  We will redirect this to our homepage. This will happen for any page that we removed. 
  
  
• I have sticky ads running that are not set to expire until after the change, what will happen to these?
  We will stop all PTC ads, ClixGrid ads and sticky ads and prorate a refund of any remaining ad credits or sticky ads.
  
  
• I purchased an upgrade for one of my referrals. When you cancel all upgrades, will the referral get the money or will I get it?
  All refunds on upgrade purchases will be made back to the person who made the purchase. So, if you purchased an upgrade for your referral, then you will be credited back the balance of that upgrade.
  
  
• Now that you have stopped selling ad credits and ClixGrid, what happens to these requirement for the checklist bonus?
  We have removed the PTC and ClixGrid option from the checklist bonus so that is no longer required. Also, 1 cent offers from the offerwalls are excluded from the checklist bonus. If you look at the checklist bonus you will now see that PTC and ClixGrid are no longer required.
  
  
• Will you have new advertising banners for us to promote with?
  Yes we will have new banners created in time for our change on July 17th.

In dieser Meldung rudert der Betreiber nicht wirklich zurück, seine Entscheidungen stehen fest, er ist lediglich bereit bei der täglichen Checklist-Vergütung einen Bonus für die User einzuräumen, welche alle Checklisten-Punkte meistern und Tage nacheinander sich aktiv einloggen.

Ansonsten sind hier bereits alle Weichen gestellt, die Veränderung ist damit klipp und klar benannt, alle User, welche investiert hatten, erhalten ihr Geld zurück.

Members, as you are aware on July 17th we will move to our new business model and we wanted to give you an update on what the signup commissions will be. 

Here is an overview of our current affiliate signup commissions:

Premium members:
$2.00 commission on first $5.00 earned from their new affiliate.
$0.30 signup commission on new active affiliates in top tier countries.
$0.10 signup commission on new active affiliates in other countries.

Standard members:
$1.00 commission on first $10.00 earned from their new affiliates.
$0.15 signup commission on new active affiliates in top tier countries.
$0.05 signup commission on new active affiliates in other countries.

Effective July 17th ALL members will get the following signup commissions:

$2.00 commission on first $5.00 earned from their new affiliate.
$0.30 signup commission on new active affiliates in top tier countries.
$0.10 signup commission on new active affiliates in other countries.

*Due to some members who try to abuse our system and create multiple fake accounts or use PTSU we do not pay affiliate signup commissions instantly. Instead these commissions will be paid whenever certain conditions have been met but not earlier than 10 days after the signup date.

These conditions include, but are not limited to, performing at least 3 actions on 3 distinct (different) days. We cannot reveal more than this to avoid abuse. Simply put, if your referrals are active you will get the signup commission accordingly.

There were also some questions on whether the $5.00 bonus for every $50.00 earned in completed tasks was being removed. It is not being removed and will remain.

We will review these commissions each 90 days to see how effective they are and change them if needed but we do not expect any changes as this has worked for us in the past.

Auch hier wird die Gemeinschaft nur wieder vor vollendete Tatsachen gestellt. Die einmaligen Vergütungen für aktive Refs wird zusammengefasst und ab sofort erhalten alle User die gleiche Vergütung. Damit einhergehend ist die Tatsache, dass es wie für Bux-Dienste üblich, hier bei Clixsense ab sofort keine unterschiedliche Mitgliedschaften mehr geben wird. Alle User sind gleich. Trotzdem werden User aus gewissen Ländern (obige Liste) explizit gesucht. Prinzipiell sind aber weiterhin Mitgliedschaften aus allen Ländern möglich.

Mir persönlich macht noch der letzte Satz Sorgen, hier heißt es nämlich, dass sie sich alle 90 Tage die Vergütungen anschauen wollen und dann entscheiden ob sie es verändern und anpassen. Das gibt nicht wirklich Planungssicherheit!

Members, we would like to give you an update on our progress of our changeover. As you can see we have already moved to the new site layout and removed PTC ads and ClixGrid. Many of you are still writing in asking where did the PTC ads go. If you happen to miss our announcement you can access it here:

Also, not everything is updated and we're still working on the site. If you find a bug or something that isn't working right please submit a ticket and let us know.

Refunds: We are also getting a lot of questions on the status of your upgrade refunds. This will be done as soon as some other updates are taken care of. We're hopeful we can get all refunds taken care of today, but if not it should be done in the next day or so. We promise that we will get everything done as quickly as possible.

Affiliate links/banners: We've had some questions about advertising campaigns on other sites that are targeted to the PTC or ClixGrid pages. We have now setup a redirect for you so if a campaign you have running is targeted to one of the pages we removed, it now redirect to our new homepage.

We have all the new banners and splash pages updated. If you are using the html code we gave you to promote then you do not need to do anything to change your advertising banners as they will automatically be updated. If you have an old banner on your website we suggest you update it with a new one.

Hier wird eine klassische Wasserstandsmeldung abgegeben, wie weit die Veränderungen sind und was bisher umgesetzt und was noch offen ist. Interessant die Tatsache, dass trotz 3 großer vorangeganger Meldungen scheinbar immer noch sehr viele User nichts von der Umstellung mitbekommen haben und nachfragen. Die Zurückbuchungen für die Vip-Mitgliedschaften sind noch im Gange und noch offen. 

Clixsense hat zudem die Banner geändert und angepasst. Die neuen Banner enthalten keine Hinweise mehr zu PTC-Aussagen. Fest steht, dass auch in nächster Zeiter weitere Meldungen bzgl. der Umbaumaßnahmen stattfinden werden. Erfreulich, mit der Umstellung kam auch ein neues Design, welches mir persönlich sehr gut gefällt und mind. 3 - 5 Jahre zu spät kommt. Doch besser spät als nie...

Fazit:

Es ist schon krass zu sehen, dass Clixsense, neben neobux der Inbegriff für PTC innerhalb von 2 Wochen das alte Kerngeschäft geschafft haben zu beerdigen. Mit einem typisch amerikanischen Willen nach Veränderung wurden hier Entscheidungen getroffen, die Terms of Service (ähnlich unserer AGB) einfach mal über den Haufen geworfen und sich neu erfunden. Und weil wir gerade dabei sind machen wir auch noch das Design! Diese Mentalität würden wir bei deutschen Diensten in diesem Maße nicht erleben, schon gar nicht, dass dann nach der Umstellung die kommenden Wochen am Herzen "live" herumgedoktert wird, bis alle Änderungen eingetütet sind. 

Ich glaube unsere Dienste hier in Deutschland und Österreich hätten mehr die Diskussion mit den Usern gesucht, hätten Widerrufsbelehrungen bzw. Sonderkündigungsrechte eingeräumt sowie erst das komplette System parallel entwickelt bevor sie dann den Schalter umlegen. Ich möchte jetzt die Entscheidung von Clixsense nicht schlecht reden, diese Umwandlung macht sicher Sinn und ist ein großer Schritt weg vom PTC-Business, welches von großen Diensten wie PayPal oder Google geächtet ist. Trotz allem hätte man es für einige Personen weniger schmerzhaft gestalten können, denn die wirklich Leid tragenden sind die Refsammler mit vielen Ebenen an Refs, die kleinen Klicker mit wenigen Cent Guthaben sowie auch viele Werbetreibende, die viele Gelder für PTC-Werbung auf die Konten von Clxsense überwiesen hatten. 

Und trotzdem glaube ich, dass Clixsense es wieder versuchen wird PayPal als Epayment-Dienst zu gewinnen. Nach der Umstellung sind die Chancen dafür extrem gestiegen. Mal sehen wie sich die Verdienste entwickeln werden, ich persönlich kann sagen ich habe täglich Umfragen für vielleicht $10 im Account. Da kann man definitiv mehr verdienen als durchs Klicken.

Eine weitere wichtige Frage wird sein, wird es Nachahmer geben, wie wird die Lücke am PTC geschlossen und durch wen? Eins ist sicher, diese Entscheidung war ein Meilenstein und wird uns noch lange (mit und ohne Clixsense) beschäftigen.
